almotamar.net - The Yemenis, government and people, on Monday have participated in a grand funeral procession of the late Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein Al-Ahmar, 74, Speaker of the parliament and leader of the Islah party, who passed away on Saturday morning in the King Faisal Hospital, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia after a long suffering from a chronic disease.

President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the vice president Abed Rabeh Mansour Hadi and senior officials of the state have Monday morning led the great number of mourners at the funeral of the late Sheikh Al-Ahmar.

After performing prayers at the Difaa Mosque there was a great funeral ceremony for the late where great numbers of mourners have participated and the grand funeral procession moved towards the cemetery of sheikh al-Ahmar for his burial ceremony there.
