almotamar.net - The number of projects funded by Small Industries and Projects Fund in Yemen amounted to 6384 costing about YR 4 billion in 17 years.

A study issued by the Fund which was established in 2002 affirmed that 6384 projects were funded at a cost of around YR 4 billion since 1991 till last September and the beneficiaries numbered 6384 citizens, among them 1305 women.

The Fund aims at offering service of financing and providing suitable capital for small industries and projects in industrial, commercial and services areas, mobilization of resources and attracting local and external investments. The fund also targets both sexes investors in the sector of small industries and projects.
