almotamar.net - The Yemeni-Saudi Technical Joint Committee affirmed at the end of its meetings in Sana'a Wednesday the necessity of facilitating trade exchange and simplifying procedures related to importation and exportation between the two countries.
The committee also called for supplying customs inlets with modern methods in order to facilitate the flow of goods between the two countries. The two sides also agreed to exchange information on what interferes in trade exchange of the two countries through immediate coordination among the concerned authorities of the two countries.
On the other hand the technical committee demanded the encouragement of the two countries' businessmen to benefit from mechanisms of financing available for them by the Saudi Fund and the Islamic Bank for Development.
The two sides also agreed to hold the first meeting of Business Council in the next session of the Council in March 2008 in the Saudi city of Jeddah.
