Almotamar.net - Yemenis have on Wednesday demanded the United Nations to bear its responsibility for protection of the people of palatine in achievement of its noble objectives and to take immediate and strict measures for stopping the daily carnages against the sons of Palestine and lift the iniquitous blockade against the people of Gaza.

A committee of the political parties and organisations o civil society in Yemen that participated in the mass demonstration organised on Wednesday by the General People's Congress (GPC) in solidarity with the brethren in Palestine has delivered a letter addressed by the parties and organisations to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Mon. the letter was handed over to the UN resident representative in Yemen.

The message demanded sending the Israeli criminals of war to court as war criminals and to apply on them resolutions of the international legitimacy. The message also contained strong demand for the UN interference and standing by the Palestinian people for the establishment of their independent state and its capital Al-Quds in realization of the security and stability of the sons of the region and the establishment of international security and peace.
