Almotamar Net - Yemens cabinet, in its Tuesday meeting, referred a proposal by the ministry of civil service on changing the day of weekend rest for the state employees from Thursday to Saturday to a ministerial committee chaired by the minister of foreign affairs and membership of the ministers of civil service, social affairs, justice and industry and trade in addition to secretary general of the premiership. The committee would study the proposal and justifications for the change and then to submit the opinion to the cabinet for taking necessary decision. The cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar as also approved a draft presidential decree on establishment of the Higher Institute for Scientific Sciences to replace the Health Institute in Hadramout.

The cabinet also considered a draft law on youth rights and referred it to a ministerial committee chaired by minister of information and membership of concerned and relevant parties to study the draft law and report to the cabinet on the results. The cabinet listened to a report by the minister of human rights on recommendations of the closing statement by the national dialogue conference on criminal justice in the Yemeni legislation and decided referring the recommendations to a ministerial committee chaired by minister of legal affairs to study them.
