Almotamar.net - Director of the Presidency Office Aki Mohammed al-Anisi said Wednesday the election platform of President Ali Abdullah Saleh with respect to fighting corruption has been translated with establishment of the Supreme National anti-Corruption Authority (SNACA), the law of financial property statement, the law of tenders and biddings and the creation of the higher committee for tenders.

In the closing ceremony of the 17th annual meeting of leaderships of the Central Organisation for Control and Auditing (COCA) al-Anisi clarified that the meetings are stations for assessment of all the works that were done every year with regard to performance of the COCA and its monitoring and auditing activity.

He has also called for publishing all the issues that are decided so that the citizen would feel that there is seriousness and transparency for combating corruption, considering these meetings as forming a good occasion for the exchange of opinions and viewpoints concerning the raising of the level of quality of the monitoring function in order to search for where the flaws are and the stations of success and failure.

On his part the chairman of COCA Dr Abdullah al-Sanafi said the mechanism of implementing the recommendations remains the most important element and that necessitates intensification of efforts to translate the recommendations into tangible reality.

The meeting came out with a number of recommendations that affirmed enhancement of the relationship of the COCA with concerned institutions for protection of the public property and fighting corruption.
