Almotamar.net - Vice-President Abid Rabeh Mansour Hadi left Sana'a for Damascus Friday leading Yemen's delegation to the 20th Arab summit scheduled in Damascus on Saturday.
The Vice-President clarified that the summit is held under delicate Arab circumstances due to the accumulated problems in the Middle East especially continuation of the Israeli aggressions on the Palestinian people and the iniquitous blockade Israel imposes on the Palestinians particularly in Gaza Strip. He added that the summit is to discuss the situations in Lebanon, Iraq, and Somalia that must be considered in the manner that guarantees coming out with an Arab vision guaranteeing confrontation of challenges and enhancement of solidarity and Arab joint action.
The Vice-President affirmed that Yemen's delegation would work all what it can for solidarity and brotherhood and unity of the rank. He said that extraordinary and emergency circumstances prevented President Ali Abdullah Saleh from attending of the summit.
