almotamar-net - SANA'A- The national committee preparing the FAO 28th conference of the Near East held a meeting in which it reviewed the final arrangements FAO conference to be held in Sana'a 7-16 March.
The meeting was chaired by Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation Jalal Faqira.
Abdul-Malik al-Arashi deputy Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, the general coordinator of the conference, said that about 150 official participants and 33 representatives of international, governmental and semi-governmental organizations will take part in the conference. He added that the preparatory committee put in consideration providing all the required elements to guarantee the conference success.
The conference would hold the 4th round of Agriculture Authority and Water Usage in the Near East in which participants would discuss a number of issues related to plants conservation, food safety, agricultural exports promotion, improving water resources use for agriculture, the diseases that affects the animal wealth like the rift of valley and the bird flue
