almotamar-net - SANA'A- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid on Saturday a visit to the headquarters of Shura council.

Saleh was briefed on the council's activities and its future responsibilities.
He ordered the council's specialized committee in elections law to achieve
the project of new elections law as soon as possible to raise it to the parliament for approval.

Saleh talked about the council's role in enhancing the democratic trends in the country, wishing Shura members more success in implementing their missions to serve the country.
