Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Wednesday received a telephone call from the Lebanese Prime Minister Fuad al-Sanyoura during which he briefed the President on the agreement reached in Doha between the Lebanese political factions.
The Lebanese Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for Yemen contribution to reaching the agreement through its participation in the Arab Committee formed by the meeting of Arab Foreign Ministers held in Cairo and was entrusted with solving the Lebanese crises.
Al-Sanyoura also valued highly Yemen's nationalist stances and its role in working for whatever that would heal the rift in the Lebanese national rank.
On his part President Saleh welcomed the Doha agreement between the Lebanese political parties, expressing his hope that the agreement would be put into force as soon as possible in service of the interest of Lebanon and its security and stability and its national unity.
The president also thanked Qatar for hosting and patronizing the Lebanese parties that resulted in the agreement.
