Almotamar.net - Yemeni Prime Minister Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar opens in Sana'a on Wednesday the 25th ESCWA Ministerial session under the theme of "Financing Development in the ESCWA region".
The session will be attended by a host of ministerial delegations representing the 13 states members of ESCWA, official personalities and other high ranking personalities from the hosting country, Yemen, in addition to diplomatic missions accredited to Yemen.
A press statement issued by ESCWA information office representatives from UN organisations, programmes and bodies and representatives for UN member states that are not members of ESCWA as well as representatives for the civil society organisations and donor establishments. Attending the event will also be regional experts and academics and a host of national, regional and international media establishments.
Activities of the ministerial session of for the states members of ESCWA had on Tuesday began in Sana'a with participation of international organisations.
In his opening speech the ESCWA Executive Secretary Bader Al Dafa indicated the goals of ESCWA in the realization of regional integration that forms the cornerstone in enhancement of the efforts of development in the region.
