Almotamar Net - The Yemen-Saudi Joint Military Committee on Wednesday concluded its meetings in Sanaa co-chaired by Staff General Ahmed Ali al-Ashwal the Yemeni Chief of Staff and the Saudi Staff Lieutenant General, Chief of the General Staff of Saudi armed forces Saleh bin Ali al-Muhaya.

Almotamar.net - The Yemen-Saudi Joint Military Committee on Wednesday concluded its meetings in Sana'a co-chaired by Staff General Ahmed Ali al-Ashwal the Yemeni Chief of Staff and the Saudi Staff Lieutenant General, Chief of the General Staff of Saudi armed forces Saleh bin Ali al-Muhaya.
At the beginning of the meeting the two chiefs of staff expressed their happiness for the results the meetings yielded over the extent of the work of the joint military committee and the results achieved at the level of field teams branched from it. They also affirmed that the latest meeting in Sana'a forms a conclusion that culminated all the works and results and that the meeting of the committee with president Ali Abdullah Saleh and his directives to honour all members of the military committee and members of the field teams constituted the highest meanings of appreciation of the role and contribution the committee has played for unifying the views and taking suitable decisions expressing the desire of the two countries' leaderships in solving all the border issues in the way realizing the public interest of the two countries' peoples.
In a statement to Saba news agency General al-Ashwal said the meeting of the committee in Sana'a is its last meeting and ended its work with good results and achieved all the accomplishments that began since the signing of the border treaty.
On his part the Saudi general al-Muhaya said the working sessions of the committees in Sana'a came as complementary for efforts of the military committee since the beginning of its works and hat resulted in successes expressing the desire of the two countries' leaderships in finding positive solutions for the issues of borders of the two countries crowned by the signing of the borders treaty in 2000.
