Almotamar.net - The chief police of Braiqa district, the governorate of Aden, Mujahid Ahmed Saeed said Friday they are conducting large-scale investigations in the wake of the sound of three explosions happened near an oil pipeline in the district.

In a statement to almotamar.net the police chief said the explosions happened away from the oil pipeline and investigations are underway about the event.

Yemeni security authorities announced on Thursday they were able to arrest an 11-member terrorist cell affiliated to al-Qaeda organisation. According to a security source investigations are being conducted with the members of the cell that was captures in the capital Sana'a during the past days and important information disclosed about terrorist acts perpetrated by al-Qaeda elements.
