Almotamar.net - The General People's Congress (GPC) on Friday condemned the terrorist attack that took place in Seyoun, Hadramout this morning and targeted a security camp with a car bomb and claimed the life of one soldier and wounded 17 other persons, among them six women.

The GPC General Secretariat has described those who committed that criminal act as cowards offending the Yemeni society and the Islamic religion. The General Secretariat considered such criminal acts as alien to the culture f the Yemeni society and serves the enemies of the Arab and Islamic nation in addition to affecting the reputation and economy of the country.

On the other hand the GPC General Secretariat demanded security authorities the serious chasing and arrest the perpetrators to be punished for what they have committed against the homeland and the society, calling the political forces and civil society organizations and the citizens to condemn the criminal terrorist act and to stand as one rank against those extremist elements and called them to cooperate with security authorities in hunting them down so that to be given deterrent punishment.
