Almotamar Net - Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and External Relations of the General Peoples Congress (GPC) Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani leaves Sanaa Monday evening leading a high-level GPC delegation for the Tunisian capital to attend meetings of the 5th General Conference of the Tunisian Constitutional Democratic Rally Party to be held on 30 of this month. Almotamar.net - Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and External Relations of the General People's Congress (GPC) Sheikh Sultan al-Barakani leaves Sana'a Monday evening leading a high-level GPC delegation for the Tunisian capital to attend meetings of the 5th General Conference of the Tunisian Constitutional Democratic Rally Party to be held on 30 of this month.

In a statement to almotamar.net al-Barakani clarified that the GPC participation comes as culmination of the positive fruitful relations between the two parties and represents an opportunity getting acquainted with the experiment of the Tunisian Constitutional Democratic Rally Party , both p9olitically and organizationally in addition to the topics to be considered at the conference of the Tunisian party.

Al-Barakani also said the GPC delegation would hold important talks with Tunisian leaderships in the state and the ruling Constitutional party aimed at developing relations between the two organisations and making them coping with the volume of challenges and responsibilities they shoulder at both national and pan-Arab levels and for opening new horizons of cooperation between them. He said the delegation would also hold talks with Arab and foreign political parties and organisations taking part in the conference.

After attending the ruling Tunisian party the GPC would visit the Libyan capital Tripoli to hold talks with the Libyan leaderships in the state and the Libyan People's Congress. The Yemeni GPC delegation would discuss relations and topics related to relations of the two organisations and define protocols of cooperation in the manner opening new horizons in their relations at different tracks.
