Almotamar.net - Iradat Shaab (People's Will "Organisation said it is seeking for adoption of a project for training and supporting the electoral campaign of 21 female candidates in all the Yemeni governorates during the upcoming parliamentary elections.

In recommendations of " The Yemeni Woman , Partner in Making the Future " symposium that started in Sana'a Wednesday the organisation added that engaging the woman in decision-making has become a necessity so that she acquires her share in implementation of the constitutional and legal rights and in realisation of the principle of justice and fairness.

The symposium also called on all political parties to depart from wrangles and biddings in issues pertaining to the woman's political participation and support for her candidacy in the upcoming elections. The recommendations also affirmed giving the woman the quota in different areas of no less than 15% and to be generalized in the political life and legislative bodies so that to guarantee an active participation of the woman in response to the call of the President of the Republic.
