Almotamar.net - Yemen's Foreign Minister Abubakr al-Qirbi said Sunday there is no so-called dual Palestinian representation in Yemen because the embassy is the Palestinian official side with which Sana'a deals.

In response to a question on the Palestinian representation in Yemen al-Qirbi said in press statements Yemen is keen on unity of the Palestinian rank and there is nothing that can be called dual Palestinian representation in Yemen. He added that Hamas office is present for many years and its activity is confined to deal with charity societies whereas the embassy is the official Palestinian side that "we deal with." He pointed to summoning the Palestinian ambassador to the Yemeni foreign ministry last Saturday and he was informed about that.

On his part the Palestinian ambassador to Yemen Ahmed al-Deek has denied closure of the embassy in Sana'a and said it is open and exercises its work as usual and affirmed that the Yemeni Palestinian relations are firm and good.
