Almotamar.net - Deputy Head of the Political Office of the General People's Congress (GPC)'s General Secretariat Dr Mujib Abdulfatah al-Ansi discussed, in a plenary meeting held in Cairo Tuesday with leaderships and cadres of the GPC branch in the republic of Egypt, all important issues in Yemen.

In the meeting that comprised of leaderships of the organisation centres, chairman of Egypt GPC branch Rajab Murad Abad al-Maweri welcomed Dr al-Ansi and all the participants in the meeting. Al-Ansi talked about the government stance regarding a number of issues, clarifying a number of steps taken by the government under the patronage of president Ali Abdullah Saleh that are aimed at safety of the homeland, consolidation of its security and stability, enhancement of the spirit of tolerance and cooperation and embodiment of the values of national unity among the people.

He has called on all the Yemeni students to play their role in enlightenment of their colleagues and sons of the Yemeni community in Egypt on the importance of the national unity and the democratic approach of Yemen as a strategic option by the people and called all to adhere to the national constants.

After that Dr al-Ansi discussed with participants in the meeting organisational issues and situations and all have considered the difficulties and hindrances on the road of full activation the branch's national role. The meeting then took a group of decisions and agreements enhancing the branch's presence in the arena and enabling it execute its programmes.
