Almotamar.net - Under patronage of president Ali Abdullah Saleh meetings of the 1st consultative forum for mosque preachers begins in Sana'a on Wednesday. Taking part in the meeting are 500 preachers representing districts of the capital and a number of districts of Sana'a governorate close to the capital city. The meeting is organised by the sector of information, intellect, culture and guidance of the General People's Congress (GPC).

Head of the Office of Guidance at the GPC Sheikh Yahya al-Najjar said the forum aims at discussing and reviewing a document to be presented by scholars to the meeting and to come out with a future vision for guidance and religious work. He added that this vision would be based on concepts of the teachings of Islam and to discuss the most possible ways for neutralizing mosques against using them for serving political or partisan purposes or sectarian ones.
