Almotamar Net - antiquities Jameel Al-Jadabi - SANA'A, almotamar.net-The Higer Museums and Manuscripts Authority (HMMA) received today more than 20 antiquities seized by security authorities.

"The 21 antiquities included bronze pieces, sculptures, stones, a head of an ibex, a steel-bronze base, and a goddess, all of which date back to ancient times, Official sources at Ministry of Culture told the motamar.net.

Sources added that such antiquities were found with offenders, who have been detained by security authorities for investigations. They had already been arrested for different crimes in Shabwa, Al-Jawf, and Mareb.

Meanwhile, a government official at the HMMA warned that Yemeni antiquities would experience a disaster as there is no military protection in original antiquities sites.
Explaining to the motamar.net, he demanded military protection spread in antiquities sites.
