Almotamar.net - Higher Economic council in Yemen announced Monday the formation of economic working team chaired by Deputy Premier for Economic Affairs , the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdulkarim Ismael al-Arhabi to follow up situation of the world financial crisis and its ramifications in addition to the measures taken by the developed countries for limiting it as well as taking necessary suitable precautionary measures for protecting the Yemeni national economy against any possible impact immediately.

That came in a meeting of the Economic Council presided by the Prime Minister, Chairman of the Higher Economic Council Dr Ali Mohammed Mujawar in which it considered the first report of the Central Bank on ramifications of the crisis and its indirect possible reflections on the financial situation in Yemen in the light of expected recession in the world economy and its effects on the region.
