Information source at the General People's Congress (GPC) commented Saturday on statements of both Mohammed Qahtan , a leading member of Islah Party and Yahya Abu Isbaa , assistant secretary general of the Yemen Socialist Party (YSP) paradoxes on the formation of the Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) . He said," It is regrettable that the aim of Qaahtan and Abu Isbaa and their likes in the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) is the hampering of elections and to hinder all procedures related to preparation for holding them in their date.

He said such behaviour by members in the JMP represents an act of sabotage against the homeland and democracy. The source said they should have joined the democratic march and to recognise its results. He said the people realise the truth about those and their goals behind corrupting the political life through this fabricated tension.
