Almotamar.net, Saba - Parliament approved on Monday a loan agreement of US$ 20 million between the government and International Development Agency (IDA) to finance a project of improving secondary education and girls enrollment to school.
The parliament also approved several recommendations to the government. It asks the government to submit detailed report two months after the intervention to the targeted schools explaining the intervention's kind and costs.
The recommendation also included rationalizing the project's expenditures as possible, setting up perfect mechanisms to supervise, monitor and follow up the project's implementation progress and submit quarter-year reports to the parliament in this regard.
The parliament obligated the Education Ministry to try the improvable curriculums and to evaluate them before circulating them over the country's schools.
