Almotamar.net - Official reports mentioned that the governorates of Mareb, al-Jawf , Shabwa , Lahj, Taiz , Hudeida and Saada came under heavy rainfalls causing heavy flow of torrents that caused heavy damage to agricultural lands and properties of citizens , among them animal wealth. The sweeping torrents also cut roads and destroyed a number of bridges.

The reports, obtained by almotamar.net, mentioned that the torrents caused the killing of two persons, one in a district in Hudeida and another in al-Jawf governorate. Sweeping torrents hit the district of Bajil in Hudeida. flooded agricultural lands and cut all roads leading the town.

The governor of Mareb gave his instructions to authorities to be on alert in precaution of any developments that may take place because of the heavy rains that poured on the governorate and cut a number of roads connecting the governorate's districts.

In addition, three schools were destroyed in Shabwa governorate and the cut of five main roads connecting districts of the governorate.
