By: almotamar.net - A French team of hang-gliders performed airshows in the sky of Ibb city, some 190 kms south of Sana'a, as part of the celebration of annual Ibb Tourism Festival.

Dr. Ameen Juzailan, director general of Ibb's Tourism Office, said the three-day visit by the French team to the governorate is a part of the Ministry of Tourism's plan to promote tourism and display the tourist attractions of our country in general and Ibb in particular.

"Ibb enjoys a number of tourist attractions and places where hang-gliding could be a big fun such as Ba'dan and Al-Ta'kar mountains, etc," he said.
He pointed out that the Tourism Office has prepared included in the festival activities a program for visiting several tourist attractions and historic sites across the province.

In a statement to Al-Thawra daily, Juzailan added that Ibb Tourism Festival's functions are due to wrap next Thursday in the historic town of Jiblah. The conclusion will see a football match pitting Al-Ittihad and Al-Sha'b teams competing for the Festival Cup. At the end of the festival, the entities and persons who contributed to the success of the festival are going to be recognized.
