Almotamar.net - Security sources told almotamar.net Tuesday that the preliminary investigations conducted by security apparatuses with the terrorist Abdulrahman Ali Mohammed Ghurab captured on Monday in a security raid on al-Qaeda-affiliated cell revealed field plans and different types of weapons seized in possession of the 4-element cell aimed at implementing terrorist operations targeting a number of vital installations and foreign interests in Yemen.

While the source affirmed continuation of investigation with the arrested terrorist, from the district of Wisab of Thamar governorate and born in Saudi Arabia, the source pointed out that two explosive belt, two Kalashnikov rifles and hand grenades as well as a motorcycle were seized in possession of the cell members.

Later an official source at the Ministry of Interior explained that the confrontation between elements of the terrorist cell and security men who stormed the house where the cell members were hiding resulted in the killing of 2 members of the cell, one of them a Saudi national Salem Ahmed Maqsaf and he is one of the elements wanted by security authorities in Yemen and Saudi Arabia. He was also among the members of the cell that implemented targeting the 7 July School at Sawan area in the capital Sana�a last year and a member of the cell of Hamza al-Qaeeti who was killed with others of al-Qaeda members in an armed confrontation with security men in the city of Tarim, Hadramout on 11 August last year.

The second one killed in the operation is called Badr Dawoud Sale Mushraa who is from Hudeida governorate born in Saudi. According to report by Security Information Centre at the Ministry of Interior the source pointed out that the fourth element of the terrorist cell is called Musaid Ahmed Naji al-Barbari from Al-Jawf governorate in whose house the members of the cell were hiding and he managed to escape bur security apparatuses are searching for him to arrest.
