almotamar.net - The Council of the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate YJS is holding Saturday a meeting discussing the topic of fixing a date for the convention of the 4th General Conference of the YJS General Assembly and election of the new Council which has been postponed for four times.

First Deputy Chairman of the YJS Saeed Thabit mentioned Saturday that in the meeting the financing concerning the conference would be also discussed, especially that the Syndicate has already finalized all documents regarding the conference.

Thabit added that the meeting would also discuss the service description of the media people that all procedures about it have been completed. He said there good promises by the government and the ministry of civil service on enlisting it in the third stage of the national strategy of wages and salaries to be launched next March.
