Almotamar.net - The Yemeni port city of Aden is to host on Tuesday the Second International conference on blood diseases and cancerous tumours. The conference is sponsored by Aden University and Cancerous Tumours Centre in Yemen as well as the National Establishment for fighting Cancer. Over a two-day meetings 200 Yemeni physicians and researchers as well as those from Arab and Latin American countries are to discuss 45 researches and working papers related to blood diseases and cancerous tumours in Yemen in addition to modern techniques in diagnosis and treatment.
The conference, to be held under patronage of Yemen Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Mujawar and to b chaired by president of Aden University Dr Abddulaziz Saleh bin Habtour, would inaugurate three rehabilitating workshops to be held on 7-9 of this month.
The workshops are scheduled to discuss areas of cellular diagnosis and cancerous diseases with participation of around fifty trainees. During the period of the conference a Yemeni Society for Blood Diseases will be founded in addition to laying foundation stone for a department of blood and bone marrow transplantation.
