Almotamar Net - First Deputy Chairman of the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate YJS Saeed Thabit has affirmed Wednesday that under going preparations for the YJS’s 4th General Conference scheduled in Sana’a next Saturday are going on in a legal method and in line with the syndicate rules of procedure.

Almotamar.net - First Deputy Chairman of the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate YJS Saeed Thabit has affirmed Wednesday that under going preparations for the YJS’s 4th General Conference scheduled in Sana’a next Saturday are going on in a legal method and in line with the syndicate rules of procedure.

Thabit told almotamar.net the general conference preparatory committee is committed to the internal regulation of the YJS and no article of it has been violated and that is for the success of the general conference and the attending of the YJS general assembly.

He added that all journalists are to attend the conference and all journalistic issues would be submitted to the general assembly to be discussed in transparency. They are all important issues and deserve discussion, he said. He added that the general assembly is the higher authority regarding all that related to journalistic work.

At the conclusion of his statement to almotamar.net Thabit said that chairman of the International Union for Journalists, Assistant Secretary General of Arab Journalists Federation , Chairman of Emirates Journalists Society and the regional director of International Journalists Organisation will be guests at the 4th conference of the YJS.
