Almotamar.net - Director of King Saud University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia KSA Dr Abdullah Abdulrahman al-Uthman arrived in the Province of Aden leading an academic delegation on a visit to Aden University.

The Saudi academic delegation was received at Aden Airport by Assistant Governor of Aden Ahmed Salem, President of Aden University Dr Abdulaziz bin Habtour and the General Consul at the Saudi embassy in Yemen Manour Attyatallh al-Mazmoumi and a number of officials and academics.

Director of King Saud University told almotamar.net the visit to Aden University is aimed at enhancing relations of King Saud University and Aden University. He added the cooperation of the two universities is part of the strategic relation of the KSA and Yemen.

The Saudi delegation is to hold meetings with deans of Aden University faculties and specialists to discuss the academic relationship between the two universities and ways of boosting them. It is also scheduled that the two sides would sign an agreement of cooperation and declaration on a council of trustees and honourary doctorate for Mr Baqshan.

The Saudi academic delegation is also to visit historical landmarks of Aden area.

According to academic cooperation between Yemen and the KSA, Yemen annually despatches 150 students to study at Saudi universities and 70 students for higher education.
