Almotamar.net, Saba - Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Baker al-Qirbi expressed Yemen's hope that the upcoming Arab summit would reach a unified stance and significant outcomes.
Upon his departure to the Qatari capital Doha to participate in meetings of the Arab Foreign Ministers preparing for the Doha summit to be held next week, al-Qirbi said his country hopes the decisions and results of the Doha Summit become at the level of Arab people hopes, especially it is to be held in very important circumstances for the Arab nation.
Speaking to Saba, the Yemeni official revealed that Yemen would present to the annual Arab summit a number of major issues, including a Yemeni initiative to set-up an Arab countries union which was approved lately by the Pan-Arab-parliament and means of boosting the Arab party union and supporting the Arab interests.
He pointed out that the Doha Summit would coincide with an Arab-South American summit to discuss three major issues related to strengthen mutual cooperation relations and economic activities that serve the common aims of Arab and South American countries.
The Arab Foreign Ministers meetings to be started on Friday will be devoted to put down the final marks of the agenda of the 21st ordinary Arab summit.
