Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Sunday expressed his hope that the Doha Arab Summit would come out with results more positive that previous summits , praising the Qatari diplomacy , saying it has played effective role in clearing the atmospheres and healing rift between brethren.

In an interview published by the East Raya newspaper of Qatar President Saleh also commended the bilateral relations of Yemen and Qatar and said there is an Arab sticking to the Arab peace initiative but it will not remain on table indefinitely, expressing his hope that the Arab leaders would accept the Arab Union project. He affirmed that would be representing a positive step for the Arab joint action. The President affirmed the Yemeni unity is safeguarded and protected by the will of the people.

President Saleh also said the relation with the opposition in Yemen is heading towards dialogue, ex [pressing his satisfaction over the existing relation and said,� We have a national choice of political pluralism and we are not impatient with opposition for it is part of the society and part of the system.�
