Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh emphasised that Yemen presented a complete vision for activation of the Arab joint action on basis of the Arab Union project aimed at uniting Arab efforts and energies and realising integration at different political, economic , cultural , security and military levels.
In his speech at the closed-door meeting of the 21st Arab summit that concluded it meting the in Qatari capital Doha Monday evening, President Saleh made it clear that the circumstances the Arab nation is experiences dictate on all to consider with responsibility the ways which secure coming out of the current Arab situation and facing the challenges against the Arab national security and guaranteeing development of mechanisms of the Arab joint action.
The President pointed out that Sudan was facing a conspiracy aimed against its unity, security and stability, the matter that imposes on all to stand by this sisterly country and for solidarity with it especially regarding the unjust decision taken by the International Criminal Court ICC against President Omar Hassan al-Bashir.
The President also called for supporting the Somali government and the Somali President Sharif Sheikh Ahmed, stressing Yemen support for any efforts exerted for security, stability of Iraq and its national unity.
President Saleh also called for doubling efforts for combating terror and drying up its springs in addition to developing mechanism of coordination and the security and intelligence work and exchanging information among security authorities in the Arab countries for confronting terrorist elements and putting an end to terror. He said terror threatens security and stability and offends the values Islam, the religion of love, tolerance, peace and respect of the human soul.
President Saleh also declared Yemen�s donation of $5 million to the fund for supporting financing private sector small and medium projects aimed at the creation of job opportunities and the achievement of economic development in the Arab homeland.
Reliable sources said earlier that President Ali Abdullah Saleh walked out of the closed-door and closing meetings of the Arab summit in Doha in protest to not providing the opportunity to present Yemen�s project pertaining to establishment of Arab countries union, a project approved by the Arab parliament that accepted it and referred to meeting of the summit in Doha.
