By:almotamar.net - Al-JAWF- Around 3 people, including head of the election committee, were killed and two soldiers were injured during a shooting incident that erupted Thursday among citizens at an election committee in al-Jawf governorate, local sources told almotamar.net.

Sources said the incident occurred after the head of the supervisory committee, Musleh Sherian, detained the application file for local elections of a candidate who has been accepted by the main committee during the candidacy application period.

According to the sources, Sherian shot Mohammed al-Dhameem, which caused al-Dhameem�s companions to kill Sherian.
Previous tensions between Sherian�s tribe and another tribe, contributed to turning the situation into violence, the sources noted.
Security forces could contain the situation.
