Almotamar.net - General Peoples Congress GPC Assistant Secretary General for Information Sector Dr Ahmed Bin Daghr said on Wednesday there is no fear on the unity but on that the Yemenis contest in politics rather that contest on solving the economic and social problems the country is experiencing.
Dr Bin Daghr refused to talk about existence of crisis in Yemen saying, What presently occurs in some areas of Yemen is a problem rather than a crisis. It is the product of political ramifications and the opposition magnifies matters by talking on a crisis but what goes on is that there is a problem in some districts of Sanaa and Saada and some districts of the southern and eastern areas.
In an interview published in the Emirates Al-Khaleej newspaper he said about a change in temperament in the southern and eastern areas against the unity Bin Daghr said, If you want to consider the south as a whole I would tell you there is no such a mood. If you want to take an area like Al-Dhalie for instance I can tell you yes there are some political ramifications with regard to the general temperament about the unity and possibly that could have emerged in the parliamentary and presidential elections. Al-Dhalie alone has the control on the local council for the opposition. This opposition is no longer a unitary or democratic opposition. The opposition , in part of it from inside the Yemen Socialist Party YSP or from some other parties or from inside the movement, raise other slogans such as the right to self-determination and the right to independence and some members of the local council are dragged behind this slogan.
On what is occurring in Radafan, Bin Daghr said there is a riot instigating and saboteur group but rather not the inhabitants of Radafan who had committed riots in the past period and it is the one talk is going on about. It is a small group and talking about it as confrontation between the authority and the people of Radafan has a great amount of exaggeration.
Assistant Secretary General Bin Daghr reaffirmed that any dialogue with the outlaws is impossible and said, Those aggressors on the public interests, on the citizens and their security and stability as well s on institutions there cannot be a dialogue with them . It can happen in any country but not in Yemen.
Bin Daghr added there is an organised opposition in Yemen and has the right to exercise its full rights and it does exercise it full rights and takes to the streets whenever it wants and it exercises the democratic action as it wants , unlike this group dissident from the opposition , the authority , the country , the unity and everything.
