Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Monday held a meeting with visiting Omani minister of state, emissary of Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed of Oman Sultanate and the accompanying delegation to president Saleh.

The Omani official conveyed to President Saleh a message from the Sultan of Oman included congratulations on the 19th National Day of Yemen and the Yemeni reunification. Sultan Qaboos wished the President and the Yemeni people under his leadership more progress and prosperity, confirming Oman�s firm stand by Yemen and its unity, security and stability. The Sultan of Oman praised the strong relations of the two countries and the peoples.

For his part President Saleh asked the Omani emissary to convey a reply message to Sultan Qaboos wishing his majesty good health and happiness and for the Omani people ever progress and prosperity under his wise leadership.

President Saleh highly valuated Oman�s honourable stands by Yemen and supporting its unity and stability, affirming that stability of Oman is that of Yemen and vice versa.
