almotamar.net - An official source at the Presidency office has on Thursday expressed his regret for what took place of acts of killing, sabotage and aggressions by elements violating law and order against offices of the local authority, security men and citizens in Zanjibar city of Abyan governorate. The source said those destructive acts represent an escalating act by those elements from remnants of the totalitarian regime and those supporting them abroad. The source said those elements aim at shedding blood and instigation of sedition and anarchy in the society.

The source also urged the local authority and security apparatuses to undertake their responsibility in confronting such behavior violating the law and to entertain with the biggest degrees of alert and attention and to be dragged to what those secessionist elements plan for sowing sedition and disturbing the social peace.
