Official sources at the Yemeni Popular Committee for Supporting Arab Resistance (YPCSAR) told almotamar.net that Yemen has sent about 175 tons of basic foodstuffs (rice, cooking oil, flour, etc) to Lebanon.

Sources added that the caravan will set out for Lebanon starting from Saudi Arabia, passing along Jordan then Syria, and arriving at Lebanon, where the YPCSAR representatives will receive it.

On the same front, Israeli authorities refused to allow 26 tons of Yemeni aid offered for Palestinian people to reach Palestinians.
Reuters news agency cited yesterday an Egyptian official as saying Egyptian efforts have not succeed in reopening Karam Abu Salem crossing to help enter Yemeni-Egyptian aid to Palestine.
