The Yemeni interior ministry said Sunday the collapse of security situations in Somalia in the recent past period has pushed tens of escapees from the hell of war to run away in search for safe haven in Yemen.

The ministry pointed out that Thubab coast in Taiz governorate since the current month received more than 100 Somali refugees among them many women and children who were reaching there daily.

In a statement by the ministry's Security Information Centre, the ministry has reiterated the Yemeni demand to the international community for shouldering its responsibility regarding the problem of the Somali refugees present in Yemen; their number is approximately 800 thousands.
