almotamar.net - Local sources in Um Ayn area, Luder district of Abyan governorate mentioned Tuesday that outlaw sabotage elements opened fire early today on policemen stationed in Um Ayn on the road linking Luder-Modea-Abyan resulting in the death of four police soldiers and wounding another.

The sheikh al-Khidr al-Barshaa of Um Ayn area told almotamar.net 10-member armed sabotage elements set up an ambush to police soldiers present in the area and opened fire on them, causing the martyrdom of 4 of them and wounding another.

Sheikh al-Barshaa also expressed his condemnation and denunciation of the criminal incident that contradicts the religion and habits and traditions of the sons of the region, stressing that the four killed police soldiers were highly disciplined and called on the inhabitants of the area to condemn those conducts that harm security and stability of the area.
