Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended here on Wednesday a celebration on the occasion of the Science Day, July 30th.
In the celebration, Saleh will honor the winners of the President award for scientific research and the distinctive teachers, employees and university graduates for the year 2007 � 2008.
Prime Minister Ali Mujawar delivered a speech on behalf of the President, counting the achievements made in educational areas at all levels of higher, technical and general education.
Fifteen private and public universities, hundreds of institutes and thousands of schools spread out in every village throughout the country in addition millions of students in universities and schools, the Premier said.
He affirmed that the government is really commitment to push the scientific research efforts forward and to provide all potentials to shift the quantity concept in the academic education to quality one.
Mujawar called during his speech the Joint Meeting Parties (JMPs) to response to the President's call for the national comprehensive dialogue, to deal with it efficiently and to quit their justifications that incompatible with the commitment they made before approving the parliament two-year extension.
He voiced the government and the political leadership's sorrow for the crimes committed by outlaws in cities of Zanjibar and Khanfar of Abyan governorate, which claimed lives of a number of citizens and security men in addition to what happen in Saada governorate due to the rebels' lack of commitment to peace.
All these events are made by the "Devil Alliance of Al-Qaeda, Huthis and separatists, who coordinate to carry out such illegal acts", he said.
Yemen has never been a heaven for terrorists, whom are told by intelligence bodies to come to Yemen aiming to harm its repute, Mujawar said, stressing that Yemen in collaboration with brotherly and friendly states will counter terrorism and thwart its attempts to destabilize the country.
Finally, the PM pinned his hope JMPs not to ride the wave with the outlaws and not to show what can be a support to such acts.
