Almotamar.net - SANAA- Sources told almotamat.net today about murdering the nephew of the independent presidential candidate Ahmed Abdullah al-Majidi yesterday evening in his house in the city of Al-Houta, the governorate of Lahj.

In a telephone conversation with almotamar.net, candidate al-Majidi reported the killing of his sister’s son Adel al-Majidi, clarifying that the killed was shot in his neck by unidentified persons while he was performing the night prayers on the roof of his house in the district of Al-Houta.
Al-Majidi added that security authorities had started investigations in the incident immediately after receiving the report at nine o’clock pm Monday. No information were yet available on the killers and the motives behind killing Adel who is the leader of the electoral campaign in the governorate of Lahj the hometown of his uncle Ahmed Al-Majidi, the presidential candidate.
