Almotamar.net - Chairman of the Shura Council Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Ghani announced Monday that president Ali Abdullah Saleh has donated YR10 million for the National Foundation for fighting Cancer.

During his inauguration of activities of the national campaign in support of cancer patients carried out in Sana'a today by the Foundation, Abdul-Ghani stressed the necessity of joining official, people's and the private sector efforts to support building centres for curing cancer patients.

Abdul-Ghani considered work of the National Foundation for combating cancer as supporter of the state represented by the ministry of public health and population through the National Centre for curing tumors.
