Almotamar.net - Official sources confirmed Monday success of army and security units in Yemen in the past days in controlling a number of areas and mountains where elements of sabotage were stationed and inflicted on those elements heavy losses in addition to destruction many of their weapon dumps and pounded their strongholds in areas of Qatabir , Shadda and Matra.

The sources pointed out that armed forces and security continue with big success their operations in confronting sabotage, insurgency and terrorist elements in Saada province, and mopping up hideouts of the rebels, from where they launch their attacks on citizens , public installations and army and security camps.

An official source at the defence ministry said army forces and security continue confrontation operations in chasing rebellion elements that are running away from one areas to another from the areas that have been purged , among them Al-Safraa district , Kouzan Mountain, and the areas of Shaqr, Ayan Valley , Souk al-Layl, Allaf Valley, Farwa, Al-Ramadiat, Kumama Mountain, Al-Riqa, Bani Thahal, Jarf Valley, Frash Valley, Al-Mahathir market, and the mountains of Al-Raqil and Al-Jaofa overlooking Al-Hhajra village.

The source added that that during the confrontation the forces destroyed strongholds of rebels in areas of Qatabir , Shatha and Matra and military and security men captured many rebels and seized quantities of weapons and ammunition.

The official source at the defence ministry confirmed that the elements of sabotage and terror were living a state of confusion and collapse among their ranks after tightening the grip on them.

Meanwhile, massive groups of tribesmen are heading for Saada from different provinces to participate in fighting the elements of sedition and terror led by al-Houthi rebel.
