Almotamar.net - Security Chief of Saada province General Hamid al-Kharashi has Tuesday denied news reports mentioned by some news websites on occurrence of fighting inside the city of Saada on Tuesday morning between armed forces and security with elements of terror and insurgency.

In a statement to semtember.net General al-Kharashi confirmed those reports were groundless and the security situation inside the city is stable. He said the ongoing confrontations between armed forces and security on the one hand and those elements on the other hand are far from the city.

Saada security Chief also pointed out the capture of groups of rebels in the city of Saada, Malahiaya, Mahathis and other areas during the past days. He said the insurgents were still committing acts of killing and kidnapping citizens who reused cooperation with them. Those elements of terror continue attacking the migrants, plundering their food and taking them as human shields.

He added that operations of chasing remnants of rebellion were continuous after they sustained heavy losses and their morale state is deteriorating and were running away from areas which were under their control in the past period.
