Almotamar.net - Yemen's Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi has confirmed Sunday that he has not received any notification from American authorities on the release of 14 Yemeni prisoners in Guantanamo.

In a statement to almotamar.net the Minister al-Qirbi said," We have not received any information from the American authorities on the release of Yemeni prisoners in Guantanamo Bay prison." He pointed out that Yemen is ready to receive them in case of arrival of a notification in this regard.

Foreign Minister al-Qirbi reiterated Yemen's demand for the release of the Yemeni prisoners in Guantanamo.

On her part the Minister for Human Rights Dr Huda al-ban said her ministry has not received any notification in this respect. She has expressed her about the information mentioning about the release of 14 Yemeni prisoners in Guantanamo while no official release was issued by the American authorities to Yemeni official parties.
