Almotamar.net - Yemeni Foreign Ministry on Tuesday confirmed Yemen sticking to the return of all the Yemeni prisoners in Guantanamo, hoping that the civil society organisations to be accurate in their information.

The Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi expressed Yemen's firm stance in the return of all Yemeni prisoners in Guantanamo, pointing out Yemen is taking all diplomatic arrangements at all levels for achieving this goal and under direct directives from President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The Minister pointed out that the clarification the Foreign Ministry of Yemen would like to present has become an inevitable matter in respect of feelings of families of those prisoners and in keeping of credibility of " our tendency towards tackling the issue of their sons who are above all citizens of the Republic of Yemen after the Hood organisation publishing a statement on the release of 14 Yemeni prisoners in Guantanamo and was revealed it was lacking credibility."
