Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh visited on Thursday the war museum in Sana'a. He toured the museum and was briefed on its contents which reflect the various stages of Yemen's history.

The museum contains military equipment and documents which stand as major evidence for attempts to break the imamate rule in 1948 and 1955 as well as the revolution of September 26th 1962 in the north and the revolution of October 14th 1963 in the south.

The President also got acquainted with the exhibits that reflect stages of building and development of the armed forces and security and what they witness of progress in all fields. The President expressed his admiration of what he has seen in the museum.


On his visit, President Saleh ordered to pay more attention to the military museums in the country, as it is considered as a school the generations can learn from.
