Almotamar.net, Saba - Governor of Aden Adnan al-Jeffri invited on Tuesday Russian businessmen to take part in the conference "Aden…Yemen's Gate to World" to be held next November.

Meeting of the preparatory committee investment and economic conference discussed the preparations for holding the conference in Aden on 11-12 next November.

During his meeting with Russian ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Trofimov, al-Jeffri encouraged the Russian investors to invest in Aden Free Zone.

The talks dealt with means to support Yemen's efforts in fighting against piracy in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

For his part, the Russian diplomat voiced his country's desire to re-qualify al-Hasswa Thermoelectric Station and establish a factory of oil refining.
