Almotamar Net - Head of the Information Office at the General Peoples Congress (GPC) Tareq al-Shamy said Tuesday after their turning against February agreement , the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) do not want anything to be achieved for the homeland . they believe that their refusal of continuing dialogue on the rest of the agreement articles after implementing the part relating to extension of the term of parliament and postponement of the elections would enable them to hindering the political life and not to go ahead in making reforms in the homeland and conducting the constitutional and legal amendments and blocking procedures of holding the by-elections. Al-Shamy added that the JMP or any other forces has no right to install itself alternative to the constitutional institutions, emphasizing there are constitutional and legal measures obligatory to all.

Al-Shamy considered the by-elections for filling vacant seats in the parliament as one of the citizens' rights to have their representatives in those constituencies and allow for the political parties and organisations the opportunity to know their size, presence and the extent of the electors conviction on their stands and directions, and that is what the parties of the JMP are evading from.
